Translation/notarization steps differ from what my friend told me — could someone lay it out?
I'm considering settling in Dubai after retirement, so I'm preparing various documents. The translation and notarization steps an acquaintance already here told me about seem a bit different in practice, and people say it varies case by case, so I need it laid out. I'm wondering, for each type of document, where to get it translated and which authority has to notarize it, and whether it's better to do it in Korea beforehand or locally in Dubai. Looking into it alone, the rules aren't clear, so I'm asking here.

서류 번역 공증 절차가 지인 얘기랑 달라서 정리 좀 부탁드립니다
은퇴 후 두바이 정착을 검토 중이라 여러 서류를 준비하고 있습니다.
먼저 와 계신 지인분이 알려주신 번역·공증 절차가 실제로는 조금 다른 것 같고, 케이스마다 다르다는 말도 있어서 정리가 필요합니다.
서류 종류별로 어디서 번역받고 어느 기관 공증을 받아야 하는지, 한국에서 미리 해 두는 게 나은지 두바이 현지에서 하는 게 나은지 궁금합니다.
혼자 알아보니 기준이 명확하지 않아서 여쭤봅니다.
