Does it get expensive if you only use taxis and public transport?
I'm seriously looking at moving to Dubai. I'm thinking about a long-term stay based on freelance work, and does it get expensive if you only use taxis and public transport? People keep saying a short trip and actually living there are two different things, so I'd like to hear from people who've done it. Forget the sales pitch, what should I be looking at first in terms of actually settling in?
