How should a beginner compare a free zone setup against a regular mainland one?
I'm seriously looking at moving to Dubai. I've got a local job offer in hand, and how should a beginner compare a free zone setup against a regular mainland one? People keep saying a short trip and actually living there are two different things, so I'd like to hear from people who've done it. Forget the sales pitch, what should I be looking at first in terms of actually settling in?
