Staying in Dubai for business purposes — how's the safety situation?
I'm getting ready to start a small business in Dubai. What people around me say and what I read online are so different that safety is the part that confuses me most. One person says it's extremely safe, another says just keep an eye on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs notices, and someone else says don't trust the indexes alone. For those actually living there or travelling there for work, what does it feel like right now? Would be grateful if you could tie that in with advice on the business visa process.
