When buying off-plan, can you really trust the escrow protection?
I'm looking into an off-plan apartment with some spare cash, and everyone tells me not to worry because it's protected by an escrow account. But I've also heard there are cases where the developer folds, so I'd like to hear from people with experience about how far you can actually trust it.

여윳돈으로 두바이 오프플랜 아파트 투자를 알아보고 있어요. 다들 에스크로 계좌로 보호된다고 안심하라고 하는데, 막상 개발사가 사업을 접는 사례도 종종 본다는 얘기가 있어서 불안합니다.
이런 빈 방 사진을 보면서 미래의 정착지를 상상해 보기도 해요. 에스크로 보호가 실제 어느 정도까지 믿을 수 있는 건지 경험 있으신 분들의 의견이 궁금합니다. 투자금 손실 없이 온전히 보호받을 수 있을까요?
