I thought financial aid was awarded by grades...
Hello. I'm in my 30s and getting established in a small trading business in Dubai. I've been looking into things for my kid's school, and people around me said financial aid goes by grades, so that's what I assumed. But when I actually went in for a consultation, that item wasn't anywhere in the contract I was given. Has anyone actually received financial aid and knows what basis it's decided on? I also have nowhere to turn for advice on the Korean tax side, so I'm asking here.

안녕하세요. 두바이에서 작은 무역 쪽으로 자리 잡고 있는 30대입니다. 아이 학교 때문에 알아보고 있는데, 주변에서 재정지원은 성적순이라는 이야기를 들어서 그런 줄 알았습니다. 그런데 막상 상담받으면서 받은 계약서에 그 항목이 안 보이더라고요. 혹시 실제로 재정지원 받아보신 분들, 어떤 기준으로 진행되는지 아시는 분 계실까요? 한국 세무 쪽으로도 조언을 구할 데가 없어서 여기 여쭤봅니다.
