I assumed tuition was expensive across the board, but it's different once you're here
I've been living in Dubai for a while now. I've started looking into schools for my child, and what I heard about tuition back in Korea keeps contradicting what I hear locally, so it's hard to set a baseline. I only knew that private schools are expensive, but lots of people say the situation actually varies school by school. I'm also torn on how to prioritize curriculum vs catchment area vs fees. Could anyone who chose a school recently give a summary?

학비 무조건 비싼 줄 알았는데 막상 와보니 다르네요
두바이에서 거주한 지 어느덧 시간이 좀 됐습니다. 아이 학교를 알아보기 시작했는데, 한국에서 들었던 학비 이야기랑 현지에서 들리는 게 계속 달라서 기준을 잡기 어렵네요. 사립은 일단 비싸다고만 알고 있었는데, 실제로는 학교마다 상황이 다르다는 말이 많아서요. 커리큘럼이냐 학군이냐 학비냐 우선순위를 어떻게 정해야 할지도 갈리고요. 혹시 최근에 아이 학교 정하신 분들 정리 좀 부탁드려도 될까요?
