Two years in and going without a car is rough...
I've been living in Dubai a while and at first I got by on public transport. But my kid starts elementary school next year, and thinking about the school run, it seems like I need a car. I can't settle on whether to buy before the term starts, whether a lease is better, or whether to get by on a short-term rental for now. How did everyone else time buying a car?

2년 살아보니 차 없이는 ㄷㄷ...
두바이에서 거주한 지 좀 되었는데 처음엔 대중교통으로 버텼거든요.
그런데 아이가 내년에 초등학교 들어가면서 등하교를 생각하면 차가 있어야 할 것 같아서요.
학기 시작 전에 사는 게 맞는지, 리스가 나은지, 일단 단기 렌트로 버티는 게 나은지 기준이 안 서네요.
다들 차량 구매 타이밍을 어떻게 잡으셨나요?
