Landlord wants a big rent increase at renewal and it threw me
It's renewal season and my landlord contacted me asking for a big rent increase. Compared to nearby market rates it seems excessive, and I don't know whether there's a legal cap on this, hence the question. It's my first time dealing with this and I have no idea how to respond.

이번에 계약 갱신 시즌인데 집주인이 임대료를 크게 올려달라고 연락이 왔습니다. 주변 시세랑 비교해서 너무 과한 것 같은데 이게 법적으로 제한이 있는건지 없는건지 몰라서 여쭤봅니다. 처음 겪는 일이라 어떻게 대응해야 할지 감이 안 옵니다.
