Dubai free zone vs mainland, which is better for setting up a company?
I'm working in Dubai on a company posting and my family has settled here too. I'm preparing a personal business alongside my job, and I can't decide between a free zone and the mainland. Last year I went ahead trusting only an acquaintance's advice and got tangled up at the paperwork stage, which was rough, so this time I want to ask first. I'd appreciate a comparison from people who've actually done it.
