I thought you just show up and go to school...
I've settled in Dubai and I'm looking into bringing my grandchild over. In Korea they say international schools are hard to get into, but I vaguely heard that in Dubai you just live there and get assigned a school. When I actually looked into it, though, the process differs by school, and I need material to explain to the parents, so I'd appreciate a rundown. I'd also like to know whether I've got it wrong.

학교는 그냥 가면 되는 줄 알았는데...
두바이에 정착해서 손주를 데리고 오려고 알아보는 중입니다.
한국에서는 국제학교 문턱이 높다고 하던데, 두바이는 그냥 거주하면 학교를 배정해 준다는 이야기를 얼핏 들었거든요.
그런데 막상 살펴보니 학교마다 절차가 다르고, 부모님께 설명드릴 자료가 필요해서 정리 좀 부탁드립니다.
제가 잘못 알고 있는 건지도 알고 싶습니다.
