I thought a parent visit just needed a passport..
My child lives in Dubai and I'm planning to visit soon. Posts I found from last year are probably quite different from how things are now, so I'm asking. I used to hear that if you're going as a tourist you can enter without any special preparation, but I'm curious whether something more is required these days. If anyone has had parents or family visit recently, please tell me what the process actually looked like.

부모 방문 비자는 여권만 있으면 되는 줄 알았는데..
두바이에 거주하는 아이가 있어서 가까운 시일에 방문하려고 합니다. 작년에 알아본 글들은 지금이랑 많이 다를 것 같아서 여쭤봅니다. 예전에는 관광 목적이면 별도 준비 없이 입국할 수 있다고 들었는데, 요즘은 뭔가 더 필요한 게 생겼는지 궁금합니다. 혹시 최근에 부모님이나 가족 방문해보신 분 계시면 실제로 어떤 절차였는지 이야기 좀 부탁드립니다.
