Anyone stuck on family visas ahead of an expat posting??
Hello. I'm likely to be posted to Dubai soon and I want to bring my spouse and child. I have to line up the timing because of my kid's school year, so I've been looking into things, but people around me mention the Green Visa, someone said they got long-term residency for distinguished achievement, and the company says they'll only sponsor a work visa — so I can't settle on a standard. I'm curious which route people who moved with their whole family actually took.

안녕하세요.
곧 두바이로 주재원 발령이 날 것 같은데, 배우자와 아이를 데리고 가려고 합니다.
아이 학년 때문에 시기를 맞춰야 해서 이것저것 알아보는 중인데, 주변에서 그린비자 이야기도 나오고, 어떤 분은 공로로 장기 거주를 받았다고도 하고, 회사에서는 취업 비자만 해준다고 해서 기준을 못 잡겠습니다.
실제로 가족 다 데리고 가서 사시는 분들은 어떤 경로로 하셨는지 궁금합니다.
