I thought foreigners could buy property anywhere?
I was house hunting in Dubai and only later found out that the location I liked isn't in a designated freehold area. Is purchasing simply off the table for foreigners in places like that, or is there some other way to do it?

외국인이 아무 지역이나 집 살수있는거 아니었나요
두바이에서 집 알아보던 중, 사진처럼 맘에 드는 곳을 찾았는데 프리홀드 지정구역이 아니었네요 ㅜㅜㅜ
외국인은 그런 곳 매입이 아예 안 되는지, 아님 다른 방식으로라도 거주가 가능한지 궁금합니다. 아시는 분 조언 부탁드려요!
