I thought paying ILOE premiums meant you'd get the full unemployment payout..

I'm in my third year posted in Dubai. My kid is in middle school, so I keep going back and forth on when to return home, and I have to tell the company next month whether I'm renewing. I do pay for ILOE insurance, and I half-heard that if you leave your job you can claim something like unemployment benefits. If anyone has actually received it, I'd appreciate details on the conditions, the amount and the application process. I'd like this settled before my contract runs out.
