How about living there for a few months first?
I told my parents I'd live in Dubai for a few months first and prepare to start a business, and my father asked whether that's even possible without a residence visa. I don't know the entry and exit rules well enough to explain. Is staying short term and getting a feel for the place actually a decent approach, and does anyone know what the process looks like when you later switch to a business visa?

몇 달 살아보는 건 어떤가요
두바이에서 몇 달 정도 미리 살아보면서 창업을 준비하고 싶은데, 부모님께 말씀드렸더니 아버지가 거주 비자 없이 그게 가능하냐고 물어보시네요. 제가 출입국 절차를 잘 몰라서 명확히 설명을 못 해드리고 있어요.
