Surprised to see a post saying you can stay outside the country over 6 months on a Golden Visa
I'm an office worker in my second year living in Dubai. My company says it will cover part of the Golden Visa cost so I've been looking into it, and I vaguely heard from people around me that a Golden Visa stays valid without a sponsor and that you can be out of the country for long stretches. But I don't have a clear sense of what the actual benefits are, or what I need to take care of myself on top of what the company covers. The fact that they're only covering part of it makes it even more confusing.

골든비자 해외 체류 6개월 넘게 가능하다는 글 보고 좀 놀랐습니다
두바이 거주 2년차 직장인입니다.
회사에서 골든비자 비용 일부를 지원해 준다고 해서 알아보는 중인데, 주변에서 골든비자는 스폰서 없이도 유지되고 해외에 오래 나가 있어도 된다는 얘기를 얼핏 들었어요.
그런데 정확히 어떤 혜택인지, 회사 지원이랑 별개로 제가 직접 챙겨야 할 게 뭔지 감이 안 잡힙니다.
회사가 일부만 지원한다고 해서 더 헷갈리네요.
