Are there companies that make the probation period longer than 6 months?
I just got the contract for my new company and the probation period is set longer than I expected. I heard there's supposed to be a cap on it, but I'm confused about whether each company applies it differently. I'm also curious whether insurance varies a lot from company to company.

이번에 새 회사 계약서를 받았는데 수습 기간이 생각보다 길게 잡혀 있어서요. 원래 상한이 있다고 들었는데 회사마다 다르게 적용하는 건지 헷갈립니다. 보험도 회사마다 차이가 큰지 궁금합니다.
