I thought rent was all you paid when renting here..
I have to explain living in Dubai to my parents but I still don't know much myself. I thought that when you rent a place here you just pay the rent, but I heard somewhere that there are various other costs on top. For those actually living there, what items besides rent are you paying, and are there separate one-time costs and monthly ones? I'm not looking at Marina or Downtown, more a bit further in.

여기 집 구할 때 월세만 내면 되는 줄 알았는데..
안녕하세요! 부모님께 두바이 정착 설명을 드려야 하는데, 제가 아직 잘 몰라서 질문드립니다. 여기 집 구하면 월세만 내는 줄 알았어요. 그런데 월세 외에도 여러 비용이 있다는 얘기를 어디서 듣게 돼서요.
혹시 실제로 거주 중이신 분들은 월세 말고 어떤 항목들을 내고 계신가요? 처음에만 내는 것과 매달 내는 것이 따로 있는지도 궁금합니다.
사진은 그냥 편안해 보이는 거실 모습이에요. 갈색 소파 뒤 벽에 포스터들이 많이 붙어 있네요.
집은 마리나나 다운타운 쪽은 아니고 조금 안쪽 동네를 보고 있어요. 지역별 차이도 있을지 궁금합니다. 조언 부탁드립니다!
