Living in Dubai for just a few months because of my kid's school

Machine translation. It may differ from the original.

I'm in my 50s and considering living there after retirement. I see my child's education as a kind of investment, so I'm careful about picking a school, but the standards are so different from Korea that I can't decide. I vaguely heard that some schools don't re-assess financial aid after admission and just keep it in place — I'm curious whether that's actually true. Would it be unreasonable to live there for just a few months first and get a feel for the schools? Sorry for not stating my conclusion up front. I tend to only speak once I've finished making up my mind.
