Want to buy in Dubai — I hear some areas aren't freehold?
I'm on a jeonse (Korean lump-sum lease deposit) right now and the contract ends this winter, so I'm considering just buying a place. Downtown and Marina are way too expensive so I'm looking mostly at cheaper areas, and an agent told me that in some places foreigners can't own property at all. I have no idea how you tell the difference.

두바이 집 사려는데 프리홀드 아닌 동네도 있다던데
지금 전세로 살고 있는데 계약이 이번 겨울에 끝나서 아예 집을 사버릴까 고민 중이에요.
다운타운이나 마리나는 너무 비싸서 좀 저렴한 동네 위주로 알아보고 있는데, 부동산에서 어떤 데는 외국인이 집을 아예 소유할 수 없다는 얘기를 들었어요.
어떻게 구분하는 건지 감이 안 잡히네요.
